The Pro-Poor Livestock Policy Initiative (PPLPI) is an initiative to facilitate and support the formulation and implementation of policies and institutional changes that have a positive impact on the livelihoods of a large number of the world’s poor. It aims to contribute to poverty reduction through the facilitation of the formulation of international and national livestock sector policies that ensure equitable, safe and clean livestock farming.
